The NHL announced today that Ducks Executive Vice President/GM Bob Murray has won the 2013-14 NHL General Manager of the Year Award at the 2014 NHL Awards Show in Las Vegas.

Voting for the award was conducted among the 30 club general managers and a panel of NHL executives, print and broadcast media at the conclusion of the regular season. This was the second consecutive season Murray was nominated for the award.

Seven years after Sidney Crosby won his first Hart Memorial Trophy, the Penguins' captain has been recognized as the NHL's best once again.

The veteran forward beat out defenseman Drew Doughty for the honor after the Kings' 3-2 double-overtime victory over the Rangers in Game 5 on Friday night.
